Object Lessons: Celebrating and developing excellence in our work with children and young people
Building on the success of last year’s Children & Young People conference, SHARE’s Regional Learning Network are pleased to open bookings for the second annual CYP conference, in conjunction with ROH Bridge and N&NF Bridge. This year’s event will focus on museums’ work with schools.
The conference will involve a lively mix of speakers and breakout sessions, as well as reports on regional projects and a “marketplace” where delegates can share skills and expertise.
Contributors include Nicky Morgan (ACE), Steve Davy (The Wroxham School), Sam Cairns (Sam Cairns Associates), Judith Carruthers (Museum Learning Consultant), plus speakers and workshop leaders from museums around the region.
You can download a programme below:
We are finalising the details of the breakout sessions. Delegates will be able to choose which sessions they wish attend before the event. We will contact you a few weeks before the event to ask for your preferences.
As with all SHARE events, there is no charge for this event, which is aimed at museum staff and volunteers in the East of England. Teachers from the region who are interested in meeting museum staff and finding out more about museums’ work with schools are also very welcome.
Lunch and all refreshments will be provided.
Bookings are closed for this event.
