A Reminiscence Network East event
Reminiscence Network East supports staff from across the health and heritage settings in the East and provides resources, training and events for carers and health providers, families and museum staff.
This session will look how you can include music in your reminiscence sessions, and how using life stories can facilitate communication. The session will be split into two workshops:
Life Story Work:
Our memories and personal experiences make us unique as individuals. Using life stories enables communication and gives people a talking point. This practical workshop will explore the ways we can develop a life story based approach and suggest life story based creative outcomes to try in your workplace.
This session will explore how music and singing can be used to aid reminiscence work.
Morning refreshments will be provided.
Bookings are closed for this event.
