Monday 23rd February, Ipswich Museum
Training session: 10:30 – 1:45
Surgery: 2:00 – 3:30
Would your museum like to work with the private sector to generate income?
This event will help museums identify new opportunities for working with local businesses and explore how these could be developed into sustainable income streams. The events will suit all museums, large and small. Participants will:
- Learn about different models for working with businesses
- Hear case studies of successful museum-business partnerships
- Have the opportunity to plan how their museums could improve their business relationships
This training day is part of the SHARED Enterprise Business Innovator Groups programme. For more information about the programme, click here.
The training session will be followed by an afternoon surgery for museums which want to take part in the programme, where participants will be supported to develop a plan for contacting potential business partners. The training day will also stand alone as a useful opportunity for people who can’t commit to the whole programme.
This event is also running on Friday 27th February at Verulamium Museum, St Albans, for museums in the West of the region.
Bookings are closed for this event.
