Costume and Textiles in Rural Life Collections: A joint peer learning event from SHARE Rural Museums East and Costume and Textiles Networks
Do you have items of costume or textiles in your rural collection which you would like to know more about? Or do you have something unusual in your collection and would like to share your knowledge with us?
This peer learning session is designed to enable the sharing of knowledge and expertise between two active SHARE networks and delegates from the wider museum community. Delegates will have the chance to look at examples of occupational and rural costume and textiles to help to identify, date and assess the significance of items in their own collection.
All welcome – delegates do not need to be members of either network.
For network members: both networks will be meeting separately in the morning before the peer learning session.
