This practical, hands-on session is ideal for anyone involved with reminiscence work. It will introduce creative ways in which to carry out reminiscence and to provide an opportunity for members to network with each other and share best practice.
We welcome participants from both the care sector and museums.
Participants will take part in two practical workshops:
Rag rugging with artist Meg Foster, in which participants will learn simple rag rugging techniques.
Inside the box – the memory box is a staple of reminiscence work. This hands-on session will look at different examples and how they can be assembled, developed and adapted for use in group or one to one settings.
Morning refreshments will be provided but please make your own arrangements for lunch.
Bookings are closed for this event.
