The Front of House Forum was officially launched at the Fitzwilliam Museum in April 2013, and has gone from strength to strength. Following on from five very successful events around the region in 2013-14, the network is heading to Sutton Hoo for their next meeting.
As always, the event will combine speakers with networking and discussion on a variety of topics.
This time the focus will be on volunteers who support Front of House activity.
Keynote Speaker: Mark Taylor, former director of the Museums Association
Topics discussed will include:
- Transitioning volunteers from ‘Invigilators to Engagers’
- Managing a Volunteer Team through a period of organisational change
- FOH Volunteer handbooks and other paperwork
