The Front of House Forum was officially launched at the Fitzwilliam Museum in April 2013, and has gone from strength to strength over the last couple of years.
As always, the Forum will combine speakers with networking and discussion on a variety of topics. This time we’re very pleased to announce that our speakers will include:
- Bernard Donoghue, Director of ALVA (Association of Leading Visitor Attractions) on commercial viability versus museum core values
- Chad McGitchie, Head of Visitor Teams, The Whitworth (Art Fund Museum of the Year 2015) on creative ways of recruiting front of house staff and volunteers
- ‘Providing the warm welcome’ – the National Theatre and their work with Ickworth House staff and volunteers
The full programme is available to download below:
There will also be an opportunity to visit the shop at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts with Rosie Evans, Visitor Services, Retail and Hospitality Manager, and take a look at some of their stock.
All refreshments and lunch will be provided. Please let us know of any dietary requirements when you book using the “comments” box below.
Bookings are closed for this event.
