The Heritage Engineering Network (H.E.N.) encourages all volunteers and staff with interest in the use and management of heritage machinery to attend its meetings. The Network supports the management and delivery of specialised skills in museums and other bodies who carry out working activities with machinery in the area of industrial heritage.
The theme of this event will be conservation and restoration. The main speakers will be Nick Carter on working within Scheduled Monuments consent, Lauren Ephithite on working with conservators and Jamie Everitt on conservation vs. restoration. There will be a chance for attendees to discuss a number of ideas during the open forum discussions, which are proving to be a very valuable networking resource.
As usual, please use the form below to book. If you are booking on behalf of several people from the same museum or organisation, please select the number of places you require, enter the main delegate’s contact details, and list the names and job titles of the other attendees in the comments box. All details will be sent to the main contact e-mail address listed on the form.
This event is fully booked.
