This training day will provide an introduction for people interested in carrying out oral history interviews. No previous experience is necessary.
The training will cover:
- the benefits and peculiarities of oral history
- who to interview
- recording equipment and how to make a good recording
- audio software
- copyright and ethics
- what to ask and how to conduct an interview
- how to manage the recordings and present the results.
Lunch is not provided, so please bring your own or make alternative arrangements.
