This course is ideal for museum staff and volunteers wishing to run Live Interpretation events, or those who’d like to expand their existing offer. The day will introduce the different types of Live Interpretation events, and explore how the plan and deliver a successful event. The final part of the course will cover evaluation of your event, and how to use your feedback to inform future events.
By the end of the course, participants will:
- be able to identify different types of Live interpretation
- understand the value of Live interpretation.
- be able to plan and refine their own Live interpretation events.
If you are already delivering Live Interpretation events at your museum, please bring along some examples, including plans, advertising, risk assessments and any other relevant items.
Morning refreshments will be available but lunch is not provided, so please bring a packed lunch or make your own arrangements.
