You are worth it! How to charge for/get the funding you deserve to work with children and young people who deserve it
Our 4th annual conference for staff and volunteers working with children and young people in museums looks at how we can make the great work we do sustainable.
Through case studies and practical examples, we will look at the ways in which museums can feel more confident about income generating, being effective advocates, accessing funds through non-traditional routes, and being commissioned to do work.
This year we are thrilled to announce our keynote speakers are Anita Kerwin-Nye and Cathy Silmon.
Anita is a charity CEO working in the space between schools and the third sector. She is about to launch an exciting project- Every Child Should- a year long conversation on the purpose of education and what we consider the entitlement for every child.
Cathy Silmon is head of Learning at Chiltern Open Air Museum
Breakout sessions will look at Local Authority Commissioning, Kids Clubs and how to work creative pricing for local schools.
Visit Firstsite Gallery too- the wonderful Grayson Perry Life of Julie Cole will still be on and
