Date(s) - 05/05/2016
10:00 am - 4:00 pm
100th Bomb Group Memorial Museum
Ruth Battersby Tooke, Senior Curator of Costume & Textiles, and
Ruth Burwood, Adult Learning Officer, Norfolk Museums Service
This session is being delivered in partnership with The Eighth in the East, who have made a number of places on the course available for the wider SHARE community.
Whether improving labels, planning a major re-display, or developing a temporary exhibition, we all want to get the most out of the objects we have. This workshop will help you identify the key stories you want to tell, and explore the ways in which you can do it. By looking at case studies and practical examples, participants will be helped to prioritise work in order to help visitors get the most out of their visit.
Refreshments will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch with you.
Please note: Due to the limited number of places available on this course, for the time being we are only able to confirm one place per museum. If you would like to request a second place, please do fill in the booking form and leave a note in the “comments” box, and we will be in touch if additional places are available closer to the date.
This event is fully booked.
