Volunteers: Getting Them In and Keeping Them Happy – A Volunteer Co-ordinators’ Forum Event
The Volunteer Co-ordinators Forum (VCF) is for anyone whose role involves co-ordinating a volunteer programme and managing volunteers at a museum or heritage site in the East of England. Find out more about the VCF on our Networks page.
This event will build on topics raised at the launch of the forum in July 2015. The focus will be on:
- Recruitment of volunteers
- Volunteer management
- Keeping volunteers on board.
The day will include keynote presentations and case studies from members of the forum, discussion groups on the buses and networking opportunities. There will also be tables available to share examples of recruitment materials.
The event will be followed by an opportunity to have a look around Ipswich Transport Museum which will close at 4.30pm.
Refreshments including lunch will be provided.
