There is a lot of information going around at the moment regarding Wellbeing, be it how museums are used as centres for wellbeing or our own personal wellbeing. In this Volunteer Coordinators Forum we will be looking at different ways in which our volunteer community can add to wellbeing successes in the community. We are also delighted to have a Craig Weeks from McMillan Cancer Support, who will talk to us about their volunteer programme and how they support the wellbeing of their volunteers, who may be experiencing difficult situations.
Other Speakers include:
- Miranda Stern, Head of Learning, The Fitzwilliam Museum
- Jenna Ingamells, Museum Project Officer, Suffolk
- David Blackburn, SHARE Volunteer Coordinators Form Business
This event is open to anyone who works with teams of volunteers.
By the end of the session participants will have an understanding of how different voluntary sectors involve wellbeing in their activities.
Refreshments, and Lunch will be provided on the day.
