The Costume & Textile Network (CTN) is SHARE Museum East’s oldest and most active network, with strong national links. It supports the development of accessible and engaging museums via projects that help improve collections care, display techniques and knowledge.
The network provides access to information regionally and nationally and is working to establish a forum for the sharing of local issues and the development of curatorial practice.
The 2013-14 calendar is in development. Details of Costume & Textile Network events and training courses will be available from September 2013.
Past network courses have included:
- All About Hats (28th November 2012)
- Sports & Leisurewear (4th February 2013)
- Storage & Documentation of Costume (24th April 2013)
If you have requests or suggestions for training, please contact the network co-ordinator.
