Would you benefit from 1-2-1 mentoring support and a small bursary to help make a loan application, or secure the hire of a touring exhibition?
As part of TEG’s Preparing to Borrow programme each successful mentee will be paired with a mentor and receive up to 17.5 hours of tailored, expert support (which can be used in face-to-face, Skype or telephone meetings, or correspondence via email), between September 2017 and March 2018, to enable their organisation to successfully complete a loan application. The mentee is also entitled to a £200 bursary to support them during the mentoring period.
The year-long Preparing to Borrow programme is supported by Arts Council England (ACE), the National Museum Directors’ Council, Art Fund and TESS Demountable; there are two mentoring places available in each ACE region.
Please note venues who have received ‘Ready to Borrow’ (previously Small Scale Capital Grants) monies, through their regional Museum Development provider, to make improvements to their display space(s), will be prioritised for mentoring support through the scheme, to enable them to make best use of this investment.
Please return completed applications to firstname.lastname@example.org by 9.00am Monday 21st August. We will inform successful applicants by Friday 25th August.Application Form Guidance Notes
